Charles de Foucauld died in the Sahara at the hands of the Taureg in 1916 and Antoine de Saint-Exuprey died when his plane crashed in the vicinity of that desert in 1943. Monk and aviator, they are intriguing men, who knew much about dancing in the desert. Assisted by the Little Prince, Ken Parker will help us to explore their lives and celebrate their work. There will be plenty of time for folk to use the eyes and ears of the heart. As the desert is sometimes part of life in urban Australia, there may be something to learn from these two.
