These changes are producing a very different context for the conduct of spirituality and the production of religious goods and services.

Professor Gary Bouma,
who is Professor of Sociology at Monash University, UNESCO Chair in Intercultural and Interreligious Relations — Asia Pacific, and Chair of the Standing Committee on Ethics in Research involving Humans. Gary is also an Associate Priest at St John's Anglican Church, East Malvern. He is the author of over 20 books, including Australian Soul: Religion and Spirituality in the Twenty-First Century.
