At the outbreak of World War I, there were Russian citizens living in Australia. It may surprise some to learn that over one thousand of them enrolled in the 1st A.I.F. After the war, survivors returned to Australia. In the post-war years, there were some success stories among them, and some tragedies. This seminar will trace this unkown part of our history.
