Seminar 9:
Living Vatican II
after Fifty Years

The Second Vatican Council opened on the 11th of October 1962. On this, the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of the Council (1962-1965), Fr Gerald O'Collins SJ speaks to the Institute and addresses some broad general questions. What were some of the highlights in the teaching of the Second Vatican Council? To what extent has the conciliar teaching been received and put into practice? What serious reception of that teaching still remains to be implemented?
