Concerts and Special Events

Following the success of the choir's concert of Iberian music at the National Gallery of Victoria in December, 2003, the choir will be giving a concert at the Basilica of Our Lady of Victories (Camberwell) on July 11, 2004.
The program will include Josquin's Miserere Mei, Deus, Ave maria and Inviolata, integra et sasta es, Gombert's Regina coeli and Guerro's Ave Maria.
The concert commences at 3 p.m.; entry by donation.
The Petrus Ensemble announces a series of concerts in 2004. This group of singers and instrumentalists is drawn from the ranks of the choir of St Peter's. All proceeds from these concerts support music and charitable work at St Peter's.
Wednesday 7 April, 2004, 7 p.m.
'Shadows' – an intimate and reflective program of Tenebrae lessons by Couperin, Charpentier, Bernier and Delande, with readings.
Saturday 27 November, 2004, 7 p.m. (Location TBA)
Vespers for the Conception of the Blessed Virgin, a reconstruction of Vespers for the Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with music by Monteverdi's contemporaries, Finetti, Rovetta and Monferrato.
Dates and programs subject to change. Tickets for all concerts are $15.
