Church and new vicarage, c. 1886

This photograph was taken from a similar vantage point on the top of Parliament House as the previous photograph. This photograph is also undated, but it is clear that a considerable amount of development had taken place since the previous view. The old vicarage has been demolished, the new vicarage has been erected, and the original school building, now known as Keble House, stands on its current site. The evidence from the lack of development of a garden around the vicarage, and the new fence on the West and South sides of the site, suggests that the building work had only recently been completed. The present vicarage and Keble House date from 1886, so this photograph is provisionally dated from that year.
