Lazarus was a brother of Martha and Mary of Bethany, and a good friend of the Lord. He was raised from the tomb by Jesus.

This panel commemorates the Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus, which is recognized in the work of the Lazarus Centre and in the ministry to the poor at St Peter's, Eastern Hill.
