Teaching, if it is to be effective, must be based on the Truth— conveying reliable information and not mis-information. The teaching mission was a central element of the New Guinea missions, and three of the martyrs were teachers: Lilla Lashmar, Mavis Parkinson and Lucian Tapiedi.
