This seminar will explore some understandings, misunderstandings, and perhaps absence of understanding, that surround the actions of blessing and giving thanks.
The focus will be two-fold:
- the development of a 'habit' of blessing and thanksgiving that is rooted in daily life, and
- the role that music can play in shaping this 'habit' and in bringing it to expression.
The participants will be invited to see how a keener awareness of, and greater familiarity with, blessing and thanksgiving can vivify and orientate Christian life and faith. This understanding will help both to form the heart of the individual, and to contribute to the sacrifice of praise which God's people are called to offer.
