Seminar 7:
The Influence of American Foreign Policy on Global Christianity

American foreign policy is having a profound influence upon the shape of the modern world, the tenor of international relations and the conduct of global Christian mission and ministry.

This address will outline the sources and features of the contemporary American identity. It will consider the force and effect of that identity on American foreign policy.

It will deal with responses and reactions to the international projection of that identity through foreign policy. In addition, it will deal with some thoughts on the functional separation of Church and State.

Finally, it will describe the present and likely future impact of American foreign policy on Christian life and witness, and on global peace and stability.
