In three addresses, we will explore the contemporary relevance of the Benedictine vow of 'stability' as an encouragement to discover God in the ordinary and humdrum routine of life, and Francis' roving bare-footed ministry as a challenge to live simply and to 'touch the earth lightly'.

Bishop Graeme recently retired as Assistant Bishop of Newcastle and returned to Melbourne, where he is currently a part-time assistant priest at St Peter's. He is a theologian, and has written numerous theological books and articles.
