What was the early Church really like? In this workshop seminar, three scholars of ancient Christianity will act as guides on a historic tour of life in early Christian communities. How did they worship? Where did they gather? What were their values and concerns? David Gormley O'Brien, Andrew McGowan (Trinity College) and Felicity Harley McGowan (University of Melbourne) will bring texts, images and ideas from the early Church to illustrate and evoke life in the earliest Christian communities.
