The figure of Christ features in many paintings and sculpture on display in the NGV, St Kilda Road. Through the centuries artists have portrayed Christ either in scenes from biblical narratives or in more devotional works. In this illustrated tour we will explore the different ways artists sought to express visually the meaning of the Incarnation: "God with us."
