Abraham is often looked to as a common foundational ancestor of the three great faiths, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and as a potential bridge for relationship and understanding between the three. Who was Abraham and what aspects of his story fit him for this weighty vocation? With reference back to the Bible stories, Dr Meg Warner will explore the relevance of the Abraham tradition for today.

Dr Warner is Bromby Lecturer in Biblical Studies at Trinity College Theological School. She completed her doctoral studies, focusing on Abraham, through MCD University of Divinity in 2011.
