Seminar 11:
Faith and Positive Psychology

Hugh Kempster arrived in Australia from New Zealand in 2008 as the new Senior Chaplain of Geelong Grammar School. This was the same time that renowned positive psychologist, Marty Seligman, commenced a six-month residency at the school. The school chapel played a significant part in the implementation of Geelong Grammar's world-renowned positive psychology programme. Dr Kempster then went on to organise Australasia's first Faith and Positive Psychology conference, and has undertaken ongoing research into the theological underpinning of this new psychological discipline.
