This seminar will explore the metaphor of 'ground' which is used of God, and the ways in which the metaphor opens up a theological understanding which goes beyond the notion of God as a 'super-person'. Sarah Bachelard will connect this with contemplative spiritual practice.

Sarah Bachelard
Sarah an Anglican priest, theologian and retreat leader, and a research fellow at the Australian Catholic University. Sarah is the founder and director of Benedictus Contemplative Church, and has previously worked in theological education and parish ministry. She is the author of Experiencing God in a Time of Crisis and Resurrection and Moral Imagination. She is a member of the World Community for Christian Meditation.
Sarah will also preach at St Peter's 9:30am Mass and 11:00am High Mass for Christ the King, on Sunday, 22nd November.
