So what is a Fresh Expression? And if it is a fresh expression of the
Church, what must it include if it is to be a faithful expression that
not only speaks to a generation indifferent to the institutional
Church and which has long since ceased to inhabit our symbolic and
linguistic world, yet is also recognizably faithful to Scripture and
the Tradition.

The Rt Rev'd Lindsay Irwin OGS
Bishop Lindsay is the former Bishop of Horsham in West Sussex. He is a member of the National Board of 'Fresh Expressions' and is now Administrator of the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. He has a particular interest in the relationship between sacramental encounter and evangelism.
