Seminar 7:
Eating Heaven:
Food and Spirituality

Food and the daily rituals of eating are so much part of our lives we rarely consider them at any depth. Beyond the question 'What's for dinner?' we never think to probe our table habits very deeply, certainly not from the perspective of faith. But in this seminar we'll do just that. We'll explore questions like these: What role does eating play in our search for community and transcendence? In what ways do the eating habits of Jesus inform our table life today? Is it possible to embrace eating as a spiritual discipline, and if so, how?
