Seminar 8:
Mission-shaped Buildings?

Re-thinking the Parish Church in a Post-parochial World

In a church where "Fresh expressions" and new models of ministry are constantly affirmed as the way forward, what is the present reality and the possible future for the traditional "parish church"? In this seminar we will explore the concept of the "parish" as a model for ministry, and of the "parish church" as a locus of action. What works? What doesn't? How should our (very considerable!) church building resources be deployed? These and related questions will form the basis for a "bring and share" discussion.
