ISS Programs

The Institute for Spiritual Studies was founded in 1982 by Bishop John Bayton, when he was Vicar of St Peter's, Eastern Hill. From the beginning, the Institute has existed to offer a program of seminars each year, led by speakers who are specialists in their subjects. While these subjects have a spiritual basis, they come from a wide range, including music, literature and art, as well as those which focus on some aspect of spiritual life and growth.

Seminars are held either on a week-day evening (from 7.30 to 9.30 pm) or on a Saturday morning (from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm). They usually take place at St Peter's, Eastern Hill.

The ISS office is open for bookings and enquiries on Monday to Friday between 9 am and 12 Noon, and can be contacted on (03) 9662 2391; Facsimile (03) 9662 2400, or by email:
